Important Information About Summer Camp
Unfortunately, the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn will not offer a full day, licensed camp during the summer months of 2017. As you know, our tireless volunteers have been donating their time and resources for years to build us our dream Clubhouse for your children. The dream is coming true with a state of the art $8.5 million facility being constructed on Charles Gardner Lane. However, the facility will not be complete, safe and operational in time for the summer. Below are some other area camps that you might be interested in visiting or learning more about for your child(ren). Thank you for understanding and we can’t wait for the fall, when you will see the building that our organization has invested in for your children in the future.
About Our Camp
Licensed by the Department of Public Health, the Club’s summer camp program is a traditional day camp that also offers an abundance of high yield learning activities aimed at curbing summer learning loss. We aim to build campers’ self confidence while they develop respect for each other and the world around them.
About Our Staff
The Club takes pride in our dedicated, energetic and well trained staff. All staff members take part in a selective interview process that includes both CORI and SORI background checks. They are also trained in both first aid and CPR.
Something New & Exciting Every Day
