Positive Place For Summer Camp
About Our Camp
Licensed by the Department of Public Health, the Boys & Girls Club of Woburn Summer Camp is a traditional day camp program with a new twist on education. We aim to build campers’ self-confidence while they develop respect for each other and the world around them. Each camper will enjoy a wide variety of activities that continues the learning process throughout the summer, all supervised by our quality, caring and enthusiastic staff. Parent engagement is important to us! Feedback, suggestions, and concerns are welcome at all times. You have the right to review background checks, grievance procedures, health care and discipline policies. Your child’s safety, well-being and positive camp experience are our top priorities.
About Our Staff
The Boys & Girls Club of Woburn takes pride in our dedicated, energetic and well trained staff. All staff members take part in a selective interview process that includes CORI and SORI background checks to ensure the safety of all our campers. Our caring and responsible staff members are role models that work to instill a sense of: competence, usefulness, belonging and influence in every camper. All staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR, as well as their respective area of instruction including life guarding and water safety.
Something New & Exciting Every Day
The day begins at 9:00 am with an all camp meeting and ends with group time at 5:30 pm. There are new activities to participate in every day! From Arts & Crafts, Nature & Science to Sports & Games and Swimming, the possibilities are endless in our 22,000 square foot facility that includes a pool, fields, playground and so much more!
A Parent’s View
“My two boys have been attending summer camp for the past 6 years. They have loved every minute of it and I have fully enjoyed the professionalism of all the counselors and staff. I have peace of mind while I am at work, knowing my kids are safe and happy, because at the end of every day when I pick them up, they always want to stay longer. I am looking forward to signing up again this summer.”
